Home / About
An established golf-course community in Frisco — mature trees, quiet streets, and the original phase of Plantation Resort.
Our story
Plantation Resort began in the late 1980s as a golf-course community on the south side of Frisco. Phase 1 — Plantation Resort 1 — grew from the original Augusta Farm and Bama Farm sections and was consolidated under a single Amended & Restated Declaration in 1999. Today it is 305 single-family homes, many with views of the fairways, ponds, or canals.
Because it was built first, Plantation Resort 1 has the tall, mature trees and established streetscape that give the neighborhood its character. It is a separate association from Plantation Resort 2 and Plantation Resort Augusta Farm — each has its own board, amenities, and dues.
The neighborhood’s full history is written into its recorded governing documents, which we keep online with the complete text and an in-page search.
